About us
Group travel, without the chaos
Trips Together gets the holiday out of the groupchat, so the people closest to you actually make it out the door.

Our mission
Planning a trip with mates should be an exciting and enjoyable experience, not a chore. Too often it's the reason the trip never happens. It stalls somewhere between a hopeful “we should go somewhere” and a spreadsheet nobody opens. We're here to change that: one shared place where the group turns talk into travel.
So we keep the dates, the ideas, the bookings and the who-owes-what in one app everyone can see. The plan looks after itself, so you and your friends can focus on the fun.
From the founder

I built Trips Together because planning a group holiday was always a nightmare.
After multiple failed trip plans, I took myself solo travelling and always missed the fact that I could be experiencing so many great things with my friends, if only we were better at planning.
That's why I built Trips Together, to get those trips out of the groupchat, so you can see the world with those closest to you!
Jack Butler, founder
Who it's for
It's built for groups planning a trip together, whatever the occasion:
- •Friends finally pinning down the trip they keep talking about.
- •Families juggling different schedules, ages and budgets.
- •Stag and hen parties wrangling a big group on a tight plan.
- •Milestone trips worth getting right: big birthdays, anniversaries, reunions.
Who we are
We're a small, independent team led by founder Jack Butler, and we're travellers ourselves. We're building the app we always wished we had, so the trips that live in the groupchat finally happen.
What Trips Together does
Trips Together holds the whole plan in one place: a shared itinerary, flights and places to stay, ideas anyone can add to and vote on, and expense splitting so nobody's chasing payments at the end. Everyone sees the same up-to-date plan. It's on iOS and Android, and it's free.
It also makes deciding easy. Anyone can put forward ideas and the whole group votes on them, so you settle on where to go and where to stay without the endless back and forth. And it takes the weight off the one person who usually ends up organising everything. The planning is shared, so nobody's left doing it all alone.
No more scrolling back through a hundred messages to find the dates or work out who booked what.
